Bonnie Collura
Bonnie Collura (born 1970) is an American artist. Most of her work is considered as abstract biomorphic sculptures and drawings that are rooted in figuration. Systems of connected characters are drawn together from mainstream popular culture, mythology, and folklore.
==Career==

Collura’s work has been seen in solo and group shows in New York, Germany, France, and Italy and is in national and international collections. Her work has been reviewed in The New York Times, Artforum, Art in America, ARTnews,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://www.artnews.com/issue/december-2003/ )〕 Sculpture Magazine, Bomb magazine, Beautiful/Decay , Time Out New York.
In 1997, Collura was awarded ''The Emerging Artist Award'' in from the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, Connecticut〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://www.aldrichart.org/exhibitions/past/cormand.php )〕 and in 2005 she received a ''John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.gf.org/fellows/all-fellows/bonnie-collura/ )〕 In 2010, she was the recipient of a MacDowell Colony Fellowship.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://news.psu.edu/story/170805/2010/01/25/arts-and-entertainment/professor-art-receives-macdowell-colony-fellowship )〕 She has been nominated for a United States Artists Fellowship and Rolex Protégé Award.
